Fabulous at 40....thanks to 'Flashes and Lashes'

Last year, to mark my 40th birthday on 5th November, as well as having a fabulous birthday party with a 1940s flavour and lots of swing dancing, I decided to immortalise the occasion in pictures. It just so happened that around that time the lovely ladies Sali (aka Ms Moo) and Emma (aka Miss Rain) collectively known as Flashes and Lashes were running a promotion. They had a discount deal on their photoshoot packages that included hair and make-up and promised to turn me into a pin-up for the day......how could I refuse???

At the time I still had my 'Bettie Bangs' which I have since grown out.
