Groomed to perfection

Today was the day of my almost 5 month old Lhasa Apso puppy Winston's first groom. As you can see from the 'before' picture he was certainly ready. He is having trouble seeing through all the fluff, getting overheated in the sun and his fur was starting to get matted up in places.

I was nervous about taking him in case he played up or I didn't like his finished 'look' but I needn't have worried. In the capable hands of my friend Julie at Wag, Tag and Dogtails I went back to collect a whole new doggy!!!! He looked AMAZING and smelt fantastic and I would HIGHLY recommend Julie. Lhasa's need grooming every 6-8 weeks so we'll be seeing a lot more of each other....which can't be a bad thing.

Now he'll be able to wear all his lovely bandanas without them becoming hidden in his fur!!!

Winston's World

I introduced you to our new puppy Winston a few weeks ago when we had just decided to get him...looking back he seems so tiny!!! He's now a chubby ol' lump of a dawg but we love him dearly. He's a 12 week old Lhasa Apso boy, rather scruffy, chases the cats, very stubborn, gets car sick and doesn't like going out in the rain but totally adorable. He's already been out with us on several adventures since his puppy vaccinations were completed last week and you might have spotted him in the jubilee celebration pictures from the weekend.

He does have eyes.......its just difficult to see them!!!

Meet Winston

I think it's about time I introduced you lovely people to the newest member of our family, so, without further ado HERE'S WINSTON...........

He's an adorable Lhasa Apso boy who will be coming to live with us sometime mid-May, we absolutely can't wait.....so excited!!!! We've been busy pricing up pet insurance and puppy packages at vets and getting together all the things this young fella will require. This will be our first dog as we've only ever had cats before.........fingers crossed he gets on well with the 2 we have, Holly and Bertie.
