Outfit of the week #4

Apologies for the lack of recent posts but a recent, unexpected family bereavement has left me feeling a bit low. I did wear this outfit last week, on Wednesday to be precise, but as I looked pretty darned shocking last week I'm using a picture taken in the same outfit a few weeks earlier - hope you don't mind!!!

I've had the blouse for ages, it has such a cute cat print all over, however it is totally sheer and it took me a while to get a flesh coloured cami to wear underneath. Was worth the wait though as it id one of my favourite tops. I love the pretty shade of pink and peter pan collar - don't you???

Outfit of the week #2

None of my outfits last week were particularly spectacular, partly due to the horrendous weather restricting my wardrobe choices and partly because of being so darned busy lately I'm behind with washing, ironing etc which has left my wardrobe depleted. This is what I wore on Saturday to Bakewell Day of Dance where the Nottingham Swing Dance Society - of which I'm a member, put on a demo. Lovely day but shocking weather so again please forgive the rather dull combination. Also I was dressed for comfort whilst dancing and it was too breezy (and chilly) for a frock!!! It is a fairly typical 'off duty' outfit for me though.

Outfit of the week

I'm far too lazy to do 'outfit of the day' posts but thought I'd try and pick out a nice outfit each week to blog about instead. I wore this outfit on Friday night to watch The Roomates at our regular rock and roll club. The skirt I wear LOADS, for work, dancing and going out - fits perfectly. The top is another wardrobe staple of mine too. I wasn't sure we were going out at all as the weather had been atrocious so threw this ensemble on at the last minute and was glad I did as we had a really great night.
